V Scale "Modeling"

V Scale modeling is done on your computer, using a train simulator such as Microsoft Train Simulator. V scale modelers are guys who don't have the money, space, and/or time for a full model railroad. You can download other people's "layouts" (called routes) and there's no need for "selective compression", routes can cover hundreds of miles.

"Train Sim" allows you to run a train, watch it from several different views, and perform a wide variety of  operations (switching cars, mainline runs, passenger trains, commuter trains).

While there are no "true" W&LE routes available at the moment, a large part of the P&WV from State Line Tunnel to Rook is done, and a veteran route builder is in the process of finishing a route that includes the Zanesville District.
