The Lakeshore Railway operates weekly excursions over part of the Lorain & West Virginia, and has a former W&LE steam locomotive in storage

The Midwest Railway Preservation Society operates occasional excursions over the Cleveland District.

The Byesville Scenic Railway operates excursions over the former Cleveland & Marietta Railroad, once owned by the former W&LE
